Congress Utilizes Social Media for Government Achievements
2 min readShimla, April 29: Rohit Vats Dhamee, the Social Media Head of the Pradesh Congress, announced that the government’s achievements over the past 15 months will be promoted through social media. To accomplish this, party workers will be mobilized from the state level down to the booth level in all blocks of the state. For this purpose, a state-level Social Media Control Room has been established at the Pradesh Congress Headquarters, Rajiv Bhavan.
Today, Rohit Vats Dhamee, along with state coordinators, held a virtual meeting from their office. They discussed creating video clips showcasing interactions with beneficiaries of the government’s welfare schemes and sending them to the Shimla Control Room for proper editing. These edited clips will then be disseminated across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to amplify the policies and programs of the Congress party.
Dhamee emphasized the increasing popularity of social media platforms and stressed the need to reach every household with the programs of the state government. Additionally, he mentioned that messages from leaders will also be promoted on social media platforms as part of election campaigning.
Furthermore, Dhamee stated that regular virtual meetings will be conducted with the social media team, and daily activities will be reviewed, along with issuing guidelines.
In today’s virtual meeting, social media officers from all blocks participated and shared their views.
Gokul Butail, the Deputy Head of the Central Election War Room of the All India Congress Committee, urged all social media officers to carry out their duties with utmost honesty. He emphasized that election campaigning now heavily relies on social media, and its full potential should be utilized.
