Congress Unveils Five Guarantees for Women Empowerment Across Nation

Shimla, March 15: The Pradesh Mahila Congress President, Jainab Chandel, today announced the release of five nationwide guarantees for women by the All India Congress Committee’s National President, Mallika Arjun Khadge, and Congress’s senior leader, former President Rahul Gandhi.
These guarantees include:
1. Providing one lakh rupees annually to a woman from a poor family in Mahalakshmi Guarantee.
2. In the Half Population Guarantee, ensuring that half of the appointments in the Central Government offices’ new appointments are for women.
3. Doubling the monthly wages of Anganwadi, Mid-Day Meal Worker, ASHA, and Anganwadi workers by the Central Government contribution.
4. In the Rights Friendship Guarantee, appointing rights friends in every Panchayat of the country to raise awareness of women’s rights and to advocate for their rights.
5. In the Savitribai Bai Phule Hostel Guarantee, constructed hostels for working women in every district of the country, the Indian Government doubled their number.
Jainab Chandel, addressing a press conference, informed about the five guarantees issued by the Congress for women’s upliftment. She stated that Congress, upon coming into power, will fulfill these guarantees. She emphasized that the Congress is committed to the upliftment of women.
