Congress Trying to Deceive Haryana Like Himachal: Jairam Thakur

Shimla: In a statement from Shimla, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur took aim at both the Sukhu government and Congress. He claimed that Congress is now trying to deceive the people of Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir with false guarantees in the upcoming assembly elections, just like they did in Himachal. Thakur stated that Congress has been exposed, and the people will no longer fall for their empty promises. The recent events in Himachal serve as a lesson to the entire nation to not trust Congress’ false guarantees.

Thakur criticized the Congress-led Sukhu government in Himachal for failing to fulfill the guarantees they made during the election campaign. Instead, the government has only increased inflation and cut benefits for the people. Over the last two years, the Sukhu government has closed more than 1500 institutions and left over 10,000 people jobless. Schools, hospitals, and welfare schemes like free healthcare, electricity, and water have been cut or disrupted.

Thakur praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that the nation trusts only his guarantees. He highlighted the Modi 3.0 government’s achievements in its first 100 days, including launching projects worth ₹15 lakh crore, which are vital for the country’s development.

Jairam Thakur also noted the enthusiasm shown by people across the state during the “Seva Pakhwada” held to celebrate Prime Minister Modi’s birthday. Volunteers participated in cleanliness drives and organized blood donation camps, expressing gratitude for the positive contributions of the BJP.
