Congress President Pratibha Singh Condemns BJP Leaders’ Remarks Against Rahul Gandhi, Demands Apology

Shimla, September 18: Pradesh Congress President and former MP, Pratibha Singh, strongly condemned the objectionable and violent statements made by BJP leaders against Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi. She termed the remarks as highly unfortunate and demanded an apology from the BJP to both the nation and Rahul Gandhi. Singh emphasized that any objectionable or violent rhetoric against Rahul Gandhi, who holds a key position in the country’s democracy, poses a serious threat to the democratic fabric of India.

Pratibha Singh called upon the BJP-led central government to take strict action against the BJP leaders responsible for such remarks, which she termed as detrimental to national unity and communal harmony.

Meanwhile, the Himachal Pradesh Mahila Congress, led by State President Zainab Chandel, staged a protest against the BJP. The protestors raised slogans condemning the BJP’s statements against Rahul Gandhi and demanded the arrest of the involved leaders. Chandel accused the BJP of undermining democracy and stressed that the Congress would never allow any such conspiracy to succeed.

Several prominent members of the Mahila Congress, including Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, Councilors Kanta Suyal, Urmila Kashyap, Vice President Brinda Singh, and many others, actively participated in the protest.
