2 min read

Dehra/Dharamshala:While addressing various booth meetings in the Dehra Assembly constituency, BJP state president Dr. Rajeev Bindal stated that the people of Dehra have decided to elect BJP candidate Hoshiyar Singh as their MLA. Dr. Bindal criticized the current Congress government, asserting that Himachal Pradesh has been on a downward trajectory during the one-and-a-half-year rule of the Congress party. He claimed that the law and order situation in the state is deteriorating, highlighting that there have been multiple planned shooting incidents within a month, something unprecedented in the state’s history.

Dr. Bindal attributed these incidents to the activities of large mafia gangs, including the chitta mafia, drug mafia, and scrap mafia, and blamed the administration of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh for this lawlessness. He also pointed out the worsening economic condition of the state, mentioning that the current government has taken loans amounting to ₹30,000 crore and plans to borrow another ₹9,000 crore this month. Despite this, development projects across the state have come to a halt, retired employees and officials are not receiving their medical bills and other dues, there is a severe water shortage, roads are filled with potholes, and power cuts have become commonplace.

Dr. Bindal further criticized the political scenario in the state, describing the Congress party as fragmented into various factions that are more focused on undermining each other rather than governing effectively. This infighting is causing suffering for the people of Himachal Pradesh, while Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu attempts to deflect his incompetence onto others. He claimed that the government is controlled by a small group of the Chief Minister’s close associates and friends, leaving the public frustrated while this inner circle thrives.

Dr. Bindal concluded by asserting that the people of Himachal Pradesh will teach the government a lesson by defeating Congress candidates in the upcoming by-elections.
