Dharamshala, January 20: Former minister and current Congress MLA from Dharamshala, Sudhir Sharma, has also embraced the spirit of Lord Rama. For the live broadcast of the consecration ceremony of Lord Rama’s temple in Ayodhya on January 22, LED screens are set to be installed at four locations in the Dharamshala constituency, including Dadi ka Mela ground, Kachahri Chowk, and Bhagsunag.
Officials from the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) met Sudhir Sharma at his residence in recent days, inviting him to the Ayodhya event. Sudhir Sharma confirmed the invitation and stated that Lord Shri Rama is a matter of faith for everyone. He emphasized that it should not be connected with politics. After receiving the invitation from the VHP, he decided to install LED screens.

Dharamshala. Sudhir Sharma uploaded an announcement on his social media account on Friday regarding making Kangra the second capital. Discussions have begun in the political corridors. He wrote on Facebook that on this day, i.e., January 19, 2017, in the Cabinet meeting, a decision was taken to make Dharamshala the second capital of the state, and on March 3, 2017, the then Chief Secretary issued the notification. It is noteworthy that when this decision was made in 2017, the government was led by Virbhadra Singh, and Sudhir was a minister in it. Until now, Dharamshala has not received the status of the second capital. Although Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu continues to talk about making Kangra his second home and a tourism capital.
Regarding these matters, Sudhir Sharma has also been in discussion. Earlier, he had expressed his support for the ongoing agitation in the Dhauladhar range of the Central University Dharamshala. Recently, he filed an FIR at the Yol police station against the police post in connection with the case of uprooting solar lights on the way to Adi Himani Chamunda Temple.
