Congress MLA Rajendra Rana Raises Voice Against His Government on Social Media

1 min read

In a significant move, Congress MLA Rajendra Rana has once again amplified the voices of the youth, expressing dissent against his own government on social media. On Wednesday, Rana took to his Facebook account to remind the government of the promises made during the elections. He wrote, “Duty towards the people must be fulfilled; the youth must be brought forward. The promises that were made to the public must be repaid to the people.” Former Minister Sudhir Sharma also commented on this post, citing a couplet from Tulsidas. The essence of Tulsidas’s couplet is that a leader should be like the mouth, which, though single in consuming food and drink, wisely nourishes and takes care of all the body parts. It is noteworthy that the discontent of Rajendra Rana and Sudhir Sharma with the government is steadily increasing.

On Tuesday, Rajendra Rana and Sudhir Sharma staged a continuous fast in the wide field of the capital, Shimla, regarding the announcement of the recruitment results from February 9 for JE (IT) post code 817 and Drawing Master post code 980. During this, both legislators spoke with the aspirants and, after listening to their demands, assured them of raising the issue in the legislative assembly. The issue of compassionate employment was also raised by Rana in the assembly.
