1 min readShimla, July 8: BJP Rajya Sabha MP and Nalagarh Assembly By-election Coordinator Dr. Sikander Kumar stated that even Congress legislators have acknowledged widespread corruption within the Congress government. He highlighted the involvement of monetary transactions across various departments.
This comes after Congress MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore discovered several discrepancies during an unannounced inspection of a newly constructed government hospital in Theog, Shimla, built at a cost of ₹17 crores. Rathore found issues like dampness and broken tiles in the building. He ordered an investigation and demanded a report within a month, asserting that those involved in corruption will face consequences.
Dr. Sikander Kumar questioned the need for changes in the mining policy, suggesting it indicates deeper corruption issues. He insisted that Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu must address these allegations and explain the necessity for policy changes.
