Congress Govt’s Failures and Mafia Raj Tarnish Himachal: Rakesh Jamwal
1 min readMandi, November 20, 2024 – BJP Chief Spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, accusing it of pushing the state into economic and administrative mismanagement while shielding mafia activities. He cited the recent ED arrests in Hamirpur as evidence of mining mafia thriving under CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s regime.
Jamwal alleged that mafia groups, including mining, land, and transfer mafias, are running a parallel administration in the state. He criticized the CM for failing to implement court orders, such as those related to the closure of 18 HPTDC hotels, claiming it as a ploy to benefit close associates.
He dismissed the CM’s allegations against the previous BJP government about auctioning ₹5,000 crore worth of assets as baseless. Jamwal also highlighted the unconstitutionality of the CPS appointment and said BJP will take legal and public action against the government’s failures.
