Shimla, February 27 – BJP chief spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal has slammed the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, accusing it of engaging in immature tactics to conceal its failures. He strongly condemned Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh’s remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding that Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu issue a clarification and rein in his ministers.

Jamwal stated that PM Modi considers the entire nation as one family, unlike the Congress, which engages in regionalism, caste politics, and appeasement. He added that while Modi promotes India’s cultural and historical pride globally, Congress leaders are damaging Himachal’s reputation with their narrow-minded politics.

He also criticized the Congress government for being financially dependent on the Center while misusing central grants. He accused the ruling party of misleading the public instead of acknowledging the central government’s support.

Taking aim at governance failures, Jamwal alleged that industrial units are shutting down, investors are leaving the state, and development has come to a standstill. He further accused the government of colluding with illegal mining mafias, looting Himachal’s rivers, and failing to curb corruption.

Comparing Himachal to Delhi, he predicted that just as Congress lost its ground in the capital, suffering forfeiture in 67 seats, the state’s voters will reject the party in the next elections.
