Addressing the developments in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan stated that Vikramaditya Singh’s resignation signifies a moral stand. He expressed confidence that the Congress government is on the verge of collapse and that the attempts being made to save it will be futile. Mahajan noted that even with the support of nine Congress MLAs, the total number has fallen below the majority, and the Congress is in disarray.
Asserting the deteriorating state of the Congress party, Mahajan supported Vikramaditya Singh’s statements, emphasizing his role as the youth icon of Himachal Pradesh. He criticized Congress for attempting to discredit both Vikramaditya and his father. When questioned about the potential of Vikramaditya Singh becoming the Chief Minister, Harsh Mahajan affirmed that he has the capability to assume the role.
