Congress Government Creates Over 31,000 Jobs in Two Years: MLA Sanjay Awasthi

Shimla, January 2 2025:
MLA Sanjay Awasthi lauded the Congress government for generating over 31,000 government jobs in two years, emphasizing its commitment to providing employment to the youth. He criticized former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur for misleading the public, urging him to account for the BJP’s five-year tenure, during which only 20,000 jobs were created.

Awasthi highlighted the Congress government’s proactive measures under CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, resolving legal hurdles and launching the ₹680 crore Rajiv Gandhi Swarojgar Start-Up Yojna to boost self-employment.

He accused BJP leaders of neglecting Himachal’s interests, pointing out pending claims of ₹10,000 crore for disaster relief and ₹9,000 crore under the NPS with the central government. Awasthi called on BJP leaders to advocate for these issues in Delhi for the state’s welfare.
