Shimla, Dec 23: Himachal Pradesh Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh declared that Congress will continue to oppose Union Home Minister Amit Shah until he apologizes for allegedly insulting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the Constitution in Parliament. Addressing a joint press conference with AICC Spokesperson and Theog MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore at Rajiv Bhavan, Singh criticized the BJP for pre-planned disruptions in Parliament and alleged attempts to suppress Opposition voices, including Rahul Gandhi.
Congress has announced statewide protests on December 24, culminating in a memorandum to the President through district authorities, demanding Shah’s resignation. Rathore condemned BJP’s “anti-constitutional agenda” and accused the party of orchestrating conspiracies against Rahul Gandhi to divert attention from key issues like Adani and Ambedkar.
