Congress always ignored ideologies of Dr Ambedkar: Anurag Thakur

Hamirpur, Oct 4 – Union Information and Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur said on Tuesday that the Congress party always ignored the ideologies of the architect of Indian constitution, Dr. BR Ambedkar and it was the BJP that was following his (Dr. Ambedkar’s) footsteps in a real sense and working for the Dalits and depressed people.
Thakur said this during a Dalit sammelan of the BJP at Patlander village today. BJP MP, Sikandar Kumar was also present on this occasion.
The Union Minister, while paying homage to Baba Bhim Rao Ambedkar, said that if the country was running today, all credit went to him for making the constitution.
But sadly, it is a matter of regret that the person who gave so much to the country person was constantly tortured by Congress and was never allowed to become a Member of Parliament.
He said that after BJP came to power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the reins of the country, reached the Parliament House, and first bowed down to the constitution made by Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar so that the whole country could know him.
He said that while Congress has always exploited the Dalits, the Bharatiya Janata Party has always been with the depressed classes.
Speaking on occasion, MP Sikandar Kumar said that the BJP was a party of the masses and was working for all classes without any political considerations for their benefits and welfare.
He described Dr. BR Ambedkar, a man behind the present India who always worked for the upliftment of all classes including Dalits.
