Cong Exudes Confidence in Himachal: Sanjay Awasthi Asserts Victory in all Seats

Shimla, May 11: Sanjay Awasthi, the Executive President and Chief Parliamentary Secretary of the Pradesh Congress, has expressed that the BJP, sensing its defeat, is in despair. He stated that the overwhelming response to Congress nominations indicates a significant stronghold in all four constituencies of the state, along with a strong position in six assembly constituencies, assuring victory in all.
During a meeting with party leaders and officials today, Awasthi emphasized the need to vigilantly monitor any conspiracies by the BJP and keep an eye on their financial resources.
Accusing the BJP of disrespecting women through the Women’s Front, Awasthi affirmed Congress’s unwavering commitment to women’s rights. He clarified that Congress does not offer anything for free to women, as alleged by the Women’s Front. The promised honorarium of ₹1500 before the elections will be fulfilled, demonstrating their determination.
Awasthi credited the solid Congress government under the leadership of Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukkhu for the state’s strength and predicted further strengthening after the election results. He hailed Sukkhu as the first Chief Minister from a humble background, rising through the ranks of the organization to reach this position today. He remarked that the BJP’s dream of power will never come true.
