Conference Organised on spirituality for holistic wellness at Shoolini University

Yogananda Center for Theology (YCT) at Shoolini University organised Yogananda Annual Conference on Spirituality for Holistic Wellness in association with the School of Ancient Theology, Indian Wisdom, and Yoga Science on Friday.
Swami Bramhamurti, Founder and Chairman, Dhyan Yoga Ashram and Ayurveda Research Centre, Kathni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, was on the panel for the one-day conference, along with businessman Arvinder Singh and Prof. Sushim Dubey, Head of the Department, Philosophy, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Ministry of Culture India.
Swami Bramhamurti said during his address, “Knowing never frees a soul; understanding the knowledge does.” He went on to illustrate his argument with stories about Paramahansa Yogananda, consumerism, life, and enlightenment.
Mr. Arvinder Singh named Gallilio and Socrates as two great thinkers. He also mentioned politics, which has an impact on religion. “The world has become ceremonial, and the spiritual path has been exiled,” he said. He also talked about different approaches to spirituality.
Prof. Sushim Dubey, HOD, Philosophy, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Ministry of Culture India, enlightened the conference with his thoughts on transcendence, spirituality, and bereavement. “One cannot achieve spirituality without morals,” he concluded.
Prof. PK Khosla, Chancellor of Shoolini University, discussed his spiritual experience so far. “I’m only getting started at the spiritual school; maybe I’ll graduate in the next life,” he said.
Mr. Vivek Atray, ex-IAS, Chairman YCT, concluded the session with a valedictory ceremony and vote of thanks, as well as a cultural event by members of the YCT club. Dr. Supriya Srivastava, YCT Coordinator, Dr. Subodh Saurabh, Head of the School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yoga Science, and the entire YCT team organised the conference. Students and faculty from the university attended the conference.
