Compulsory Apprenticeship Registration in District Kullu

Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute, Shamshi, while giving information, said that the meeting of District Level Apprenticeship Committee (DLAC) Kullu was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, Kullu.
As per the instructions given in this meeting, all government and private organizations and eligible youth have been invited to register on the official Apprenticeship Portal.
He stated that units with more than 30 employees are required to hire apprentices, who must constitute 2.5% to 15% of the total workforce. Units with 4 to 29 employees are also encouraged to join the scheme. Registration on the portal is required for contract creation and stipend claims. Failure to comply may result in official notices. ITI graduates and eligible youth should register to secure local apprenticeship roles. Candidates from local institutions will be given priority.
