Complete Pending Development Works in Mission Mode: Kangra DC
1 min readDharamshala, January 13: A review meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Kangra to evaluate the progress of planning-approved projects. Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa, the meeting focused on the systematic status of pending works across various departments.
The DC instructed officials to complete pending tasks in “mission mode” and directed them to upload utilization certificates for allocated funds on the portal within seven days. He emphasized that funds for projects not yet initiated should be returned promptly. Additionally, officials were asked to submit utilization certificates via the MIS portal.
He highlighted the use of the e-Sakshi portal for reporting under the MP fund and urged officials to adhere to this mechanism. Regular reviews of development projects were also mandated to ensure timely completion, with accountability to be established for delays.
Earlier, District Planning Officer Alok Dhawan detailed the budget allocations and progress of various projects. Officials from the Public Works Department, Jal Shakti Department, Forest Department, Soil Conservation Department, Him Urja, and block development offices participated in the meeting.
