Community Health Center Organizes Multi-Specialty Health Fair in Jalog

Dr. Kanwar Guleria (Executive Medical Officer of Sunni) informed that today, under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, a multi-specialty health fair was organized at the Indira Gandhi Ayurvedic Hospital, Jalog. The fair was led by Dr. Poonam Gautam, the In-charge Medical Officer for Jalog, as per the directives of IGMC Shimla.
Specialists from IGMC Shimla, including Dr. Jiya Lal (Pediatrician), Dr. Praveen (Gynecologist), Dr. Tanishq (Ophthalmologist), Dr. Mandeep (ENT Specialist), Dr. Sandhya (Dermatologist), and Dr. Manjeet (General Surgeon), were present and contributed to the fair.
The health fair saw the registration of 192 beneficiaries, with 25 of them benefiting from general services and 177 beneficiaries availing the services of multi-specialty doctors. Micro-surgical services were provided to four beneficiaries, and 103 beneficiaries received family planning, maternity, childbirth, and child health services. Additionally, 485 blood tests were conducted, and two patients with cataracts were referred to IGMC Shimla for further treatment. Two beneficiaries received specialized surgical checkups.
