Collision Between Private Bus and HRTC Bus

Hamirpur, Oct 18 – On Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM, a collision occurred on the Neribaleeta road, near Kanguvaya, between a private bus and an HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) bus. Fortunately, all passengers on both buses, including children, escaped unharmed. The impact of the collision caused significant damage to the front portion of the private bus. The HRTC bus also incurred damage.

Following the accident, traffic congestion ensued on the Neribaleeta to Kanguvaya road for nearly an hour. After mutual agreement between both drivers, the buses were eventually removed from the accident site. Tejraj, the HRTC bus driver, mentioned that the passengers were en route from Neribaleeta to Kangra Mahavidyalaya when a car suddenly appeared near Neribaleeta. While applying light brakes to allow the car to pass, the private bus behind them collided with the HRTC bus from the rear. No formal complaint was registered at the police station regarding the incident.
