Col. Deepak Kumar of 133 Eco Task Force Briefs Himachal CM on Environmental Initiatives

Shimla , May 07– Colonel Deepak Kumar, Commanding Officer of the 133 Eco Task Force (Dogra), met with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla today. During the meeting, Col. Kumar briefed the Chief Minister on the various environmental protection and afforestation activities being carried out by the Eco Task Force across the region.
The 133 Eco Task Force, known for its commitment to ecological conservation, has been actively engaged in plantation drives, watershed management, and land restoration projects aimed at preserving Himachal’s fragile environment.
Chief Minister Sukhu appreciated the commendable efforts of the Task Force and emphasized the importance of collaborative action between the government and armed forces in combating climate change and environmental degradation in the Himalayan region.
