CM Sukhu Presides Over HRTC Golden Jubilee Celebration

Announces Salary and Pension Payments on October 28

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presided over the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) Golden Jubilee celebrations in Shimla. He announced that HRTC employees will receive their salaries and pensioners their pensions on October 28. The government will provide ₹50 crore for the 55-month overtime payments, with full settlement by March 31, 2025. Additionally, ₹9 crore of pending medical bills for employees will be cleared within the next two months. CM Sukhu called for transforming HRTC into a green and self-reliant corporation by March 31, 2026, with all official vehicles to be replaced by electric ones by 2025. Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri praised HRTC for its dedication to public service and thanked the CM for the funds allocated for electric buses.
