CM Sukhu Accused of Repeated Inaugurations to Mask Development Failures: Jairam

Mandi, December 3: Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition, Jairam Thakur, has alleged that CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is misleading the public by repeatedly inaugurating projects initiated by the previous BJP government. Thakur claimed that many of these projects were completed a year ago but were deliberately delayed to coincide with the government’s two-year celebration and the upcoming Assembly session.

Thakur accused Sukhu of failing to start new projects, instead opting to claim credit for BJP-led initiatives like the ₹50 crore Bakhli Ropeway, funded by NABARD. He also cited the Dhalli Bus Stand, completed under the Smart City Project, as another example where CM Sukhu allegedly misrepresented facts. Thakur criticized the Congress government for engaging in double inaugurations and ignoring genuine demands in politically unfavorable regions.
