CM Resorts to Filing Cases and Creating Slogans Instead of Correcting His Mistake in Jangli Murga Incident: Kanwar
1 min readShimla, December 19, 2024– BJP’s Assistant Media In-charge, Pyar Singh Kanwar, accused the Congress government of politicizing the Jangli Murga incident. He stated that the Chief Minister himself had used the term “jungle cock” during a live feed, yet the Congress, through its workers, is attempting to give this entire issue a political twist.
Kanwar said, “Instead of correcting the mistake made by the CM, the government is filing FIRs against BJP leaders and media houses. The Congress is trying to divert attention from its failures and is resorting to political tactics to cover up its shortcomings.”
He further criticized the government for targeting opposition and media in the case, stating that such actions reveal the government’s contradictory mindset. Kanwar urged the government to focus on development and fulfill the promises made to the people, rather than making baseless moves against the opposition and media.
The BJP made it clear that such actions will not intimidate their workers, who remain firmly with the people.
