CM Labels Former Independent MLA as Greedy Contractor, Alleging Misuse of Public Funds

Hamirpur — Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has launched a scathing attack on former independent MLA Ashish Sharma, accusing him of prioritizing personal gain over public service. Speaking at various rallies in support of Congress candidate Dr. Pushpinder Verma, the CM claimed that Sharma secured ₹135 crore in contracts within 14 months under the Congress government, contrasting this with the ₹50 crore he received during the previous BJP government.

CM Sukhu alleged that despite demanding tenders from him, Sharma misled the public by stating that no work was being done. The CM labeled Sharma as greedy and arrogant, attributing his defection to the BJP to a lack of integrity.
