CM Dedicates Developmental Projects Worth Rs. 196 cr
6 min readSola, Dec. 17 – Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs 196 Crore in Arki, Solan and Kasauli Vidhan Sabha areas of Solan district today through video conferencing from Shimla.
In Arki Vidhan Sabha area, Chief Minister inaugurated link road Gohary Karyah Kyartu Bandi constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.18 crore, bridge over Sarli Dhaim Gamberpul road built at a cost of Rs. 89 crore, LWSS to cover NC/PC habitations in Arki constituency from Ghamber khad in tehsil Arki constructed with an outlay of Rs. 28.80 crore, Rs. 1.28 crore LWSS to group of villages Sanog, Bhajolu, Barog, Brahamana, Sawa, Rajhina, Faggi, Changer, Nanog, Tansta and Samleeh etc. in tehsil Arki, Rs. 65 lakh LWSS Tepra Sanyardi Mpure in G.P. Sanyardi in tehsil Arki, Rs. 1.23 crore LWSS Taked Kared and adjoining villages in G.P. Sour in tehsil Nalagarh and Rs. 2 crore LWSS Neri Platta in G.P. Danoghat, tehsil Arki.
Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones of Kuru Nalla Magarwari Baini Ki Bainsk Bajot Garyach road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.71 crore, Rs. 11.85 crore upgradation of Kanda Ladvi Kunihar road, Rs. 5.95 crore upgradation of Darla to Piplughat, Rs. 4.89 crore upgradation of Saryanj Dharat Air Gater road, Rs. 70 lakh Science Lab in Senior Secondary School at Bhumti, Rs. 1.29 crore Science Lab in Senior Secondary School, Dhundan and Sub Tehsil Office building Kunihar to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh.
Chief Minister also performed foundation stone laying ceremonies of Rs. 1.47 crore retrofitting and improvement of LWSS Auda Diggal and Nissol Mosoul under Jal Jeevan Mission in tehsil Ramshehar, Rs. 24.48 crore LWSS to PC habitation in Arki constituency from Ghamer Khad in tehsil Arki, Rs. 5.92 crore drinking water facilities to various villages in G.P. Kashlog, Sewara, Chandi, Mangoo, Gaiana, Nawa Gaon and Darlaghat etc. in tehsil Arki and expansion of Sub Market Yard at Kunihar to be done at a cost of Rs. 2.33 crore.
For SolanVidhan Sabha constituency, Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated Rs.13.38 crore development projects which include Rs. 1.28 crore office building of Home Guard 11th Battalion at Solan, Rs. 6.76 crore Community Health Centre building Sayari and 2-3.15 MVA (unmanned) Sub Station Basal at Saproon constructed at a cost of Rs. 4.38 crore.
Chief Minister performed foundation stones laying ceremonies of Rs. 58 lakh District Treasury Officer residence at Solan, Rs. 1.69 crore road from Kiari Mour to Kot road, Rs. 4.43 crore upgradation of Oachghat Kalaghat Nandal road, Rs. 5.24 crore upgradation of road from Phaskana to Jakhed, Rs. 3.80 crore upgradation of Kandaghat to Mahi road, Rs. 1.50 crore foot bridge near Keen Kiar near over Ashwani khad and Rs. 4 crore EVM/VVPAT warehouse.
Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones of Rs. 28 lakh LWSS Nauni Majhgoan GP NauniMajhgaon in tehsil Solan, Rs. 4.89 crore augmentation of LWSS Dharja GP Nauni and Samrod in tehsil Solan, Rs. 14.98 crore improvement and upgradation of DWSS Solan town from Giri river, Rs. 95 lakh improvement of LWSS, village Gurash, Anji, Sudharag, G.P. Podhana, tehsil Kandaghat, Rs. 2.15 crore LWSS Sheel and adjoining village in G.P. Top Ki Ber, tehsil Solan, Rs. 42 lakh modernization of LWSS Hathon Palhech in GP Mahi, in tehsil Kandaghat, Rs. 5.19 crore LIS to village Sakori and adjoining villages in G.P. Sakori in tehsil Kandaghat and Rs. 3.91 crore additional Workshop block at ITI, Solan.
In Kasauli Vidhan Sabha Constituency, Chief Minister inaugurated remodel of LWSS Diarghighat in G.P. Chamat Bharech and Deothi in tehsil Solan constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.77 crore, RS. 3.35 crore building of Government Senior Secondary School, Kotbeja, and Rs. 2.46 crore new bus stand, Parwanoo.
Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones of Rs. 6.26 crore augmentation of LWSS Jabli in tehsil Kasauli, Rs. 5.04 crore WSS to PC habitation in GP Barog, Bhojnagar and Bohli in Kasauli constituency, Rs. 1.08 crore Panchayat Secretariat (Panchayat Community Centre/Combined Office Complex) at gram panchayat Jabli in development block Dharampur, Rs. 3.74 crore upgradation of Bharti to Gambarpur via Deothal road and Rs. 3.29 crore upgradation of Mataghat Ghaighat road.
While addressing the people of these constituencies from Shimla, Chief Minister said that 52 developmental projects worth about Rs. 196 crores were dedicated to the people of three Vidhan Sabha areas of Solan district. He said that on completion all these projects would usher in a new era of progress and development in these areas.
Chief Minister said that the present State Government has not only laid foundation stones of these projects, but has also made adequate provisions in the budget. He said that the previous State Government simply made announcements and laid foundation stones, without making adequate provision of budget. He said that the State Government was ensuring that the pace of development goes uninterrupted.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the present State Government was completing three years tenure in office on 27th of this month. He said that the State Government got full support and cooperation of the people of the State during last three years. He said that each and every day of the State Government was committed towards the welfare and upliftment of the common man. He said that the opposition was making much hue and cry over the pandemic, but the people of the State were aware of their nefarious designs.
Chief Minister said that several schemes such as Jan Manch and Mukhya Mantri Sewa Sankalp Helpline 1100 has been proving boon to the people of the State for redressal of their grievances at their doorsteps. He said that HP Grahini Suvidha Yojna, Sahara Yojna, HIMCARE etc. had helped the weaker sections of the society. He said that as many as 2.86 lakh families were provided free gas connections under Grihini Suvidha Yojna to make Himachal Pradesh a smoke free State.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the State was fortunate to have benevolence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National BJP President J.P. Nadda, who hails from the State. He said that double engine of the Centre and State Governments was bound to make Himachal Pradesh to forge ahead on the path of progress and prosperity. He also urged the people to elect honest and hardworking candidates for the Panchayati Raj Institutions in the ensuing Panchayat elections.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal welcomed the Chief Minister on behalf of the people of Kasauli Vidhan Sabha area. He said that last year the Chief Minister during his visit to the area has dedicated developmental projects worth Rs 102 crores. He said that Parwanoo was the first industrial town of the State, where people from different parts of the State work to earn their livelihood. He said that the Parwanoo bus stand which was inaugurated today by the Chief Minister would benefit people as they would now be able to get buses from Parwanoo itself to go to their native places.
MP and State BJP President Suresh Kashyap said that this was a historic day for the people of Solan district as Chief Minister has today dedicated developmental projects worth crores of rupees. He said that despite coronavirus pandemic, Chief Minister has ensured that the pace of development goes on with steady pace. He also thanked the Chief Minister for giving Municipal Corporation status to the Solan town.
Chairman HP State Cooperative Development Federation Rattan Singh Pal while welcoming the Chief Minister on behalf of the people of Arki said that the area has witnessed unprecedented development during the last three years.
BJP leader from Solan Dr. Rajesh Kashyap while welcoming the Chief Minister and other dignitaries thanked him for dedicating developmental projects worth crores of rupees for Solan area. He also thanked the Chief Minister for making adequate arrangements for transportation of farmers’ produce to markets during the corona pandemic.
