CM Announces Opening of Sub Tehsil at Jari and New Developmental Block at Bhuntar
4 min readShimla, Aug 21 – Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today virtually inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 14 developmental projects worth about Rs. 40 crore for Kullu Assembly Constituency from Shimla as he could not go there due to inclement weather conditions.
Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated Rs. 1.97 crore improvement of LWSS Talogi Matarna and Trakara in village Kharahal in tehsil Kullu, Rs. 1.01 crore LIS Pirdi in Tehsil Bhuntar and Rs. 1.05 crore LIS to Phatti Chong in GP Chong.
Chief Minister performed foundation stone laying ceremonies of Rs. 35.05 crore which include Rs. 1.71 crore WSS for left out village of Lug valley in Gram Panchayat Choparsa, Rs. 5.67 crore WSS Samalang in Gram Panchayat Mangarh, WSS Mashana in Gram Panchayat Mashana, WSS Garamang in Gram Panchayat Choparsa, WSS Dugilag Shildhari in Gram Panchayat Braman and WSS Phallan in Gram Panchayat Phallan, Rs. 9.62 crore LWSS from Beas river to 16 Tanki Shildhara, Rs. 2.95 crore LIS Neoli Tharman in tehsil Kullu, Rs. 1.91 crore CAD works for LIS Neoli Tharman in tehsil Kullu, Rs. 2.11 crore CAD work for LIS Shamshi. Rs. 4.61 crore Storage Tank-cum- recharging reservoir at Mohal khud in tehsil Kullu, Rs. 97 lakh tapping additional new source/improvement of PWSS Chhala, Katagla, Rashol and Choz in G.P. Kasol, Rs. 1.58 crore augmentation of WSS Teel Sangchan and Bradha in tehsil Kullu, Rs. 3.07 crore renovation of distribution of LIS Shamshi and Rs. 83 lakh CAD work to LIS Jia in tehsil Kullu.
While addressing the meeting virtually from Shimla , Chief Minister said that the present State Government during the last about three and a half years has ensured equitable and balanced development of the State despite the fact that nearly about two years have been wasted due to the corona pandemic. He said that during his visit to various areas of the State, he is dedicating and laying foundations stones of developmental projects worth crores of rupees to facilitate the people. He said that during his recent visit to Pangi and Bharmour areas, dedicated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs 450 crore.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government has a clear vision regarding development of the State. The State was fortunate that it was continuously getting the love, guidance and benevolence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Centre Government during all these years has always been considerate towards the developmental demands of the area. He said that the nation was steadily forging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity under the able and strong leadership of the Prime Minister. He said that even during the pandemic the central government provided all possible help to the State to effectively fight the pandemic.
Chief Minister announced opening of Sub Tehsil at Jari and New Developmental Block at Bhuntar. He said that Stage-I forest clearance has been sent for construction of ropeway upto Bilji Mahadev as this would add wings to tourism development in the area. He announced widening of road to Bijli Mahadev provided the land was made available for it. He announced upgradation of Middle School Neuli to High School, Rs 5 lakh for development of Park below National Highway near Ram Shila. He announced Rs 3 lakh for maintenance of Seogi road, Rs 3 lakh for construction of Sarai Bhawan at Mata Neuli Ranni.
He said that he has taken up the matter of construction of Bhubhoo Jot Tunnel with the Prime Minister, Home Minister and other senior central leaders at it would reduce the distance between Jogindernagar and Kullu by over 60 kilometers. He announced opening of Health Sub Centre at Karingcha, upgradation of High School Doghri to Senior Secondary School. He announced Rs. 25 lakh each for developing Smana to Gurugug and Jathani to Mathasour roads for developing the area from tourism point of view. He announced Rs 15 lakh for construction of Bye pass Shishamathi and Serveri and Rs. 10 lakh for construction of Sarai at Bhalayani.
Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur said that even during the Corona pandemic the Chief Minister ensured that the pace of development goes uninterrupted and inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs 4200 crore in about 42 Vidhan Sabha areas of the State. He urged the people to provide their wholehearted support to Chief Minister to ensure that the pace of development goes uninterrupted.
MLA Kullu Sunder Singh Thakur said that the State was fortunate to have a Chief Minister who was always open to the suggestions and developmental needs of the people of the State. He also detailed various developmental demands of the area. He also thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating and inaugurating developmental schemes worth crores of Rupees.
Former Member of Parliament Maheshwar Singh said that the Chief Minister was to personally dedicate and lay foundation stones of all these developmental projects for the area, but the bad weather forced him to virtually perform the ceremony from Shimla. He also urged the Chief Minister for construction of ropeway to Bijli Mahadev and construction of park near Ram Shila.
