Closure of Kalka-Shimla National Highway from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM for Road Maintenance

Solan, September 14: The Kalka-Shimla National Highway will remain closed from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM on Thursday. During this period, vehicular traffic will be diverted through alternative routes. Deputy Commissioner of Solan has issued orders regarding this closure. Road maintenance and debris removal work has been carried out by the Forelane company in the Chakki Mod area in recent days, which has led to the closure of the highway for four hours on Thursday night. Small vehicles will be redirected through the Kasauli-Jangeshu-Parwanoo road during this period. It is advised that people only use the highway when absolutely necessary.
