CIPET Baddi Opens Admissions for Job-Oriented Technical Courses for 2026 Session

Admissions have begun at Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Baddi, for various employment-focused technical programmes for the 2026 academic session. The institute, jointly supported by the Government of India and Himachal Pradesh, offers Diploma in Plastic Technology (DPT), Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology (DPMT) for 10th pass students, and Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing (PGD-PPT) for B.Sc. graduates. Lateral entry is also available for 12th science and ITI pass candidates.
Officials stated that CIPET maintains nearly 100% placement, with students working in leading companies such as Dabur, TVS, Lumax and Subros, earning monthly stipends and salaries ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹35,000. Admissions will be through the CIPET Admission Test (CAT-2026). Applications can be submitted till May 28, 2026, with the entrance exam scheduled for June 7, 2026, and the new session starting from July 13, 2026.
