**9th International Film Festival of Shimla to Showcase Global Cinematic Excellence**

The eagerly anticipated 9th edition of the International Film Festival of Shimla is all set to enthrall audiences from September 22 to 24, 2023, at the iconic Gaiety Theatre in Shimla. This year’s event will host participants from 20 countries and 22 states, promising to celebrate the art of storytelling through the unique perspectives of diverse cultures.

In the international category, filmmakers from the United States of America, Belgium, Iran, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Turkey, Nepal, Egypt, Bangladesh, Italy, Poland, Argentina, Sweden, Afghanistan, Australia, France, and Dubai will participate. Meanwhile, twenty-one states from India, including Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur, Assam, Delhi, Punjab, West Bengal, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Himachal Pradesh, will also be represented.
