Chief Minister’s Visit to Arki Constituency a Flop: Rattan Pal

Shimla, 15 December 2024: BJP District President Rattan Pal Singh criticized the visit of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to Arki Assembly constituency, calling it a failure. He claimed that despite the efforts of local MLA Sanjay Awasthi and BJP workers to gather a crowd, only a small number of people turned up at the event in Loharghat. The CM arrived late, which further disheartened the crowd, according to Pal.

Pal accused the Congress government of making false promises and betraying the people of Arki, stating that the closure of institutions previously set up by the BJP government had left the locals disappointed. He also claimed that CM Sukhu’s speech in Loharghat was filled with empty promises that became the subject of mockery among the public.

He also pointed out that the Congress government’s actions, including the closure of several institutions like the BDO office in Daddlaghat and the IPH sub-division in Kunihar, were driven by revenge rather than development.

Pal ended by warning that the people of Arki would soon give a strong response to the CM and MLA for their false promises and mismanagement, predicting that they would be shown the door in the upcoming elections.
