Chief Minister congratulates Dr. Seema Sharma
1 min readChief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Seema Sharma, a distinguished Professor of Economics at IIT Delhi, for her selection by the Indian Council for UN Relations, New Delhi, to receive the esteemed International Women’s Day Award 2024.
The Chief Minister said that the accomplishment was a matter of immense pride for people across the state and highlighted her outstanding contributions to Research & Development. He said that Dr. Seema Sharma, a native of Hamirpur district, was an inspiration for women of Himachal Pradesh.
He praised her academic achievements at IIT Delhi, citing awards such as the Outstanding Young Faculty Fellowship and Teaching Excellence Award, as evidence of her commitment to both teaching and research.
