Chief Minister condoles demise of Lance Naik Praveen Sharma
1 min readChief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep condolences on the demise of Lance Naik Praveen Sharma. He has expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family. He said that in this hour of grief, the state government stands with the martyr’s family. He assured all possible help to the martyr’s family.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan also expressed deep condolences to the martyr’s family and prayed to God to give strength to the bereaved family.
Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Sumit Khimta said that the martyr’s body will reach Chandigarh on Monday morning. The administration has arranged for an ambulance to bring the body from Chandigarh. He said that appropriate guidelines have also been issued to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rajgarh in this regard. The martyr’s last rites will be performed with military honors in his native village Habban of Rajgarh in Sirmaur district on Monday.
Lance Naik Praveen Sharma attained martyrdom on 10th August, 2024 during Operation Rakshak in Anantnag of Jammu and Kashmir. He was posted in the 1Para Special Force.
