A few hours after leaving the classes and hitting the road, the Bharmour administration has finally swung into action and issued orders for the posting of three teachers in the Government Senior Secondary School, Lamu. Therefore, now on the basis of deputation, the teachers in the school will try to connect the children with the stream of education. Due to this, the education of the children will not be affected in any way. With the deployment of teachers, the students have also heaved some relief.
Upset over the absence of a single spokesperson for classes one and two of the Government Senior Secondary School, Lamu, the students left the classes and took to the road on Saturday. Due to the vacancy of the posts of lecturers, the students had to spend time sitting vacant after reaching the school from remote villages. However, during the tenure of the BJP Government, Government Secondary School Lamu was upgraded to Senior Secondary School but the staff was not posted in the school.
Five posts of lecturers including Principal, one TGT non-medical, one art teacher, PET, clerk and LA posts are lying vacant in the school. Enraged by this, the students staged a sit-in demonstration on the Lamu-Hilling main road on Saturday. After getting the information, Holi Tehsildar Holi Prakash Chand, Holi School Principal Vinod Kumar and the police team reached the spot after convincing the children and villagers and sent the students to the classes. Additional District Magistrate Narendra Kumar has confirmed the news. He told that three more teachers have been posted on deputation to run the education of the students smoothly.
