Shimla, Sept 12 — BJP MP Suresh Kashyap stated that the Centre has extended financial aid of over ₹10,000 crore to Himachal Pradesh for disaster relief, including ₹6,625 crore in direct packages and a ₹3,000 crore World Bank–funded research project. He urged the state Congress government to spend the funds transparently and without favoritism. Kashyap further highlighted that 559 educational institutions were damaged in the 2025 disaster, yet little progress has been made in restoration despite allocations.
