Central Budget Extends PMGKAY for Five Years, Empowers Youth: Harsh Mahajan

Shimla: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan praised the Union Budget, highlighting its extension of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) for five years, benefiting over 800 million people. He emphasized the budget’s focus on youth empowerment, with first-time formal sector employees receiving a one-month salary incentive. The budget outlines nine priorities including productivity in agriculture, employment, human resource development, manufacturing, urban development, energy security, infrastructure, innovation, and next-generation reforms.
