CEDSA conclave sparks industry transformation, honours excellence

The two-day CEDSA Conclave at Shoolini University concluded on Friday with a series of insightful discussions and significant recognitions.
The second day commenced with Panel Discussion on “Financial Inclusion and Economic Impact of the Direct Selling Industry in India.”
Panellists included Mr Rahul Sudan, Editor-in-Chief of Direct Selling Today; Mr Hem Pandey, Former Secretary, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, GOI; Dr. Gopalam Sultania, academician, author, and direct seller; Mr Mahavir Kaintura, author and top title achiever at VLCC Wellscience; Mr Harshvardhan Jain, top social media influencer and life coach and Dr. Manish Marwaha, Chief Managing Director of Amulya Herbs Pvt. Ltd.
The conclave also recognised achievement in the direct selling business with the annual CEDSA Golden Rudraksha Awards. These prizes were presented to Mohd. Zakir Hussain, Mr. Harshvardhan Jain and Prof. KN Vasupalaiah. The highly valued award is given to leaders who rise beyond self and dedicate themselves in the service to the industry. All awardees thanked the university administration and underlined the importance of education in propelling the industry to new heights.
Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla and President of Innovation and Marketing Prof. Ashish Khosla attended the valedictory session, where they also presented certificates of appreciation to Shoolini University’s dedicated volunteers and organising committee.
In his concluding remarks, Prof. Kamal Kant emphasised the transformative potential of direct selling in reshaping Indian economy. He stated that the direct selling is the most viable inclusive entrepreneurial model which provides every individual to become a micro-entrepreneur. The industry is heading in the right direction and soon India is going to be the biggest direct selling market in the world.
The CEDSA Conclave at Shoolini University ended on a high note, with delegates feeling motivated and enthusiastic about the future of the direct selling sector in India.
