Capturing Moments: THDC India Limited Pays Tribute to Renowned Photographer Rakesh Sahai

In a poignant tribute to the late renowned photographer Sh. Rakesh Sahai, THDC India Limited inaugurated a spectacular photo exhibition at Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh. The event, graced by Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel) of THDC India Limited, along with Smt. Kushum Kandwal, Chairperson of the Uttarakhand State Commission for Women, and Sh. Manoj Rangad, the dedicated organizer of the exhibition, unfolded as a vibrant homage to the artistic legacy of Sh. Sahai.

The exhibition featured the works of nationally acclaimed photographers, showcasing their expertise in capturing nature and various contemporary subjects. Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDC, highlighted the company’s commitment to establishing new benchmarks in harnessing hydro energy while also actively supporting and promoting art and culture in the region.

Expressing his belief that the exhibition would act as a catalyst for photographers to showcase their excellence on national and international platforms, Sh. Vishnoi encouraged fellow photographers. Sh. Shallinder Singh, after reviewing the exhibited works, emphasized that the photographs have the potential to leave an indelible mark on human thought, surpassing the impact of a thousand-page book.
