Bus Overturns in Thiyog Subdivision, Leaving Multiple Passengers Injured

On Friday morning, a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus with registration number HP 03-6127 overturned in the Sanj area of Thiyog Subdivision. This accident occurred around 10:30 AM and resulted in multiple passengers sustaining injuries.

According to information provided by the police, 14 injured passengers were taken to the Thiyog Civil Hospital for medical treatment. The condition of some of the injured individuals is reported to be critical. The bus involved in the accident was en route from Shimla to Throch when the driver lost control at a turn near Sanj, causing the bus to overturn. During this incident, there was panic among the passengers on board. The police promptly initiated rescue efforts with the help of locals and managed to evacuate passengers from the overturned bus.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Siddharth Sharma mentioned that 14 people were injured in the accident and are currently receiving medical treatment. An investigation into the causes of the accident is underway.
