Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology organized Teachers’ Meet & Launch of 2022 Admission Prospectus at Hotel Classic Residency, Pinjore on Friday, 27.05.2022. The Pradhans, School Principals and teachers of Pinjore and other surrounded areas- Kalka and Parwanoo participated in the event. University representatives- Dean Research and Development- Dr. Ravinesh Mishra and Dean School of Management Studies- Dr.Arunkant Painoli addressed the audience. Dr. Ravinesh Mishra apprised the gathering about the “Academic Adoption programme”, a first in the state, in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, which shall provide academic exposure as well as practical exposure to the students in industry while studying. This “Earn While Learn” initiative provides a support system to students from financially unsound families under which the students get 8,500/–12000/- stipend for working in the company while continuing their studies. He also shared the information about the training and placement and reported that students of Baddi University gets placement in reputed companies as the institution is located in industrial hub and Asia’s largest Pharmaceutical Hub, Baddi. And some of the 3rd year students recently got an internship in Orange Business Services. Moreover, it is a matter of previlidge for the University that it’s School of Pharmacy has been awarded as the best Pharmacy Institute in North India by Economic Times, he added.
Dr.Arunkant Painoli informed the audience about Management courses running by the University and that the institution is continuously making efforts to build a sense of entrepreneurship in its students. Recently, the School of Management Studies under Entrepreneurship Development Cell had organized an expert talk by Mr. Rajat Jain who is among one of the winners of Shark Tank India- 2022. He has invented a pocket size ECG which is one of the greatest achievements in medical science.
