Budget 2026-27 Inclusive and Growth-Oriented, Says Anurag Singh Thakur in Parliament

New Delhi, Feb 11: BJP MP and former Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur praised the Union Budget 2026-27 in Parliament, calling it a “sarvjan hitay, sarvjan sukhay” budget focused on inclusive development and long-term nation building. He highlighted increased capital expenditure, expansion in healthcare infrastructure, growth in medical colleges and AIIMS, and the government’s push towards making India an AI-enabled nation. Thakur said the budget prioritises key sectors including banking, AI, industry, health, education, tourism, agriculture, defence and transport, while aiming to position India as a global AI innovation hub by 2030.
