Brig Madan brings operation Sindhoor message to Shoolini campus

As part of the Government of India’s nationwide outreach programme, Brigadier Sundeep Madan, SM, Commander of the prestigious 95 Infantry Brigade, delivered a powerful presentation on Operation Sindhoor at Shoolini University.
The session, attended by faculty, students, and distinguished guests, shed light on India’s decisive response strategies against terrorism.
The presentation highlighted the objectives of Operation Sindhoor, which included punishing the perpetrators of the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack and other Pakistan-supported incidents, neutralising terror infrastructure without harming civilians, delivering a strong deterrent message, maintaining national unity through a whole-of-nation approach, controlling escalation, safeguarding borders and civilians, and asserting India’s stance on zero tolerance for terrorism at international forums.
During the interactive Question and Answer session, Brigadier Madan responding to a question on banned social media influencers promoting pro-Pakistan propaganda, Brig Madan clarified that bans are imposed only after thorough evaluation and evidence of anti-national activity.
The event was attended by Prof. P K Khosla, Chancellor, Shoolini University; Prof. Sunil Puri, Registrar Shoolini University, Prof. J.M. Julka, Director Planning Shoolini University, Director operations at Shoolini University Brig S D Mehta and Dr. Ashoo Khosla, Chief Learning Officer Shoolini University.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Dr. Ashoo Khosla expressed gratitude to the Indian Army, describing soldiers as “modern-day Krishnas” the protectors, strategists, and defenders of truth. She invoked the festive spirit of Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami, symbolically offering a “virtual sacred thread” to the armed forces as a token of trust and protection.
Brig Madan, an alumnus of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, has nearly 27 years of distinguished service, with commands in challenging terrains. His exemplary career includes the Sena Medal (Gallantry), UN Force Commander’s Commendation Card, and Commander-in-Chief Strategic Force Commander Commendation Card. Accompanying him was Mrs. Richa Madan, an accomplished educationist, former Principal, and recipient of the Corps Army Wives Welfare Association Excellence Award for her outstanding contributions to welfare initiatives.
