Book  discussion organised on Prof. Manju Jaidka’s latest book

Dr. Navreet Sahi Associate Prof Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts, introduced the author and the book. Prof. Jaidka talked about the book and also read her favourite story. All twelve stories are different from the others, adding variety and distinctiveness to the reading experience. She shared her experience of writing the book. Interestingly, this is Prof. Jaidka’s first collection of short stories, as she has written novels and a play before this. Prof. Jaidka  said that writing different stories gave her a larger canvas to work on and think upon, and it allowed her to expand more creatively as compared to the other genres that she has been writing previously. She also read out her favourite story, ‘Whatever Happened to Pushpa?” Prof. Dhar appreciated the book and also gave his valuable input and observations. The vote of thanks was given by Hassan.
