Blood Donation Drive Marks Eve of Independence Day at LR Group of Institutes

Solan, August 14, 2025 – On the eve of Independence Day, LR Group of Institutes, managed by LLR Educational Trust, successfully organized a blood donation camp at its campus in Solan. The event was spearheaded by Managing Director Mrs. Shachi Singh, with strong support from Deputy Registrar Mr. Surat Singh, Deputy Director of Marketing Mr. Hussain Zaidi, and all members of the LR family.

The camp was held in collaboration with Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), Solan Hospital, and saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff. Many donors came forward for the first time, describing the experience as both inspiring and memorable.

Mrs. Shachi Singh said, “The purpose of this blood donation camp was to inspire youth towards national service. We are proud that our students and faculty participated wholeheartedly, reflecting their commitment to humanity.”

The medical team included Dr. Tarun (Associate Professor, Blood Bank), Varsha (Technical Supervisor), Meenakshi (Lab Technician), Rajat (Lab Technician), Seema Sood (Staff Nurse), Sahil (Student), and Rahul (Student).

The camp concluded with the message that “A true patriot is one who steps forward to serve the nation and save lives. One drop of blood can spread millions of smiles.”
