Blood donation camp organised at Shoolini Univ

Shoolini University, in collaboration with the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, organised a blood donation camp yesterday. Students and faculty members from different departments donated blood for a noble cause. A total of 105 units of blood were donated during the camp.
The event was organised by the office of Dean Student Welfare (DSW) team, led by Mrs. Poonam Nanda. The students volunteered and assisted the doctors in arranging the essential supplies and coordination required for the blood donation camp.
Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Dean Student Welfare, said, “We are always happy to see the response of the students for the blood donation drive. It is an essential initiative, and we are glad to have associated with PGI, Chandigarh, for the event. The volunteers and donors were provided with refreshments to keep their energy levels high.” She further added that blood donation is a significant step towards promoting blood donation and public health. The university organises these camps regularly and will continue to do so.
