BJP’s Strategy Exposed: Congress Alleges Manipulation and Deception in Himachal

The Congress has accused the BJP of exposing its tactics, face, and character to the people of Himachal Pradesh. Health Minister Dhaniram Shandil and Industries Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan stated that the recent defection of rebel Congress legislators to the BJP has revealed the ulterior motives of BJP leaders behind the entire conspiracy. They alleged that BJP leaders conspired to overthrow the democratically elected government and manipulated public sentiments. Moreover, they claimed that rebel legislators who joined the BJP did so out of personal interests, without considering the welfare of the people. The Congress ministers emphasized that the Himachal Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhoo’s leadership, has fulfilled five out of ten guarantees made during the election campaign. They highlighted various initiatives such as filling more than 22,000 government positions and launching a startup scheme worth 680 crores to provide opportunities for self-employment. Additionally, they pointed out the reinstatement of the old pension scheme and the provision of 1500 rupees to women, among other achievements. The ministers asserted that the Congress party is ready to face all challenges, and its leaders and workers are united. They expressed confidence that the upcoming Lok Sabha and by-elections will give a resounding answer to the politics of money and the mockery of democracy. They reiterated their support for Chief Minister Sukhoo, emphasizing that the culture of “Ram-Ram” (hypocrisy) will not prevail in Himachal Pradesh.
