BJP’s Rajiv Bhardwaj Accuses Congress of Divisive Politics, Defends NDA’s Electoral Strength

Shimla, November 9: BJP State Vice President and MP Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj criticised Congress leaders for making “misleading and divisive” statements during the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections. He said the first phase of polling indicates a strong wave in favour of the NDA, with political analysts predicting a two-thirds majority for the alliance.
Bhardwaj rejected Congress claims of “vote theft” in Bihar, stating that voters themselves have confirmed their votes were secure. He accused Rahul Gandhi and Congress leaders of spreading falsehoods to create confusion and unrest. He said any grievance regarding voting should be addressed legally through the Election Commission or courts rather than through public accusations.
Commenting on recent remarks by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Bhardwaj said describing “Congress as synonymous with Muslims” reflects the party’s deep-seated vote-bank politics. He asserted that the BJP has never indulged in caste, communal or appeasement-based politics, emphasizing the party’s commitment to “justice, humanity and inclusive development.”
He stated that India’s cultural ethos—rooted in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—promotes unity, not division, and urged voters in Bihar to remain vigilant against parties that attempt to create communal or caste-based rifts for political gain.
