BJP to Celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8

Shimla, March 5, 2025 – BJP State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma announced that the party will celebrate International Women’s Day at the district level on March 8. The theme will focus on women’s financial empowerment through PM Modi’s schemes, including Mudra Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, Jan Dhan Yojana, Startup India, Standup India, PM Employment Generation Program, and Self-Help Group Assistance.

Prominent BJP leaders will attend events across districts: Anurag Thakur (Una), Jairam Thakur (Shimla), Dr. Rajeev Bindal (Bilaspur & Solan), Suresh Kashyap (Sirmaur), Indu Goswami (Hamirpur), Dr. Sikander Kumar (Kangra), Harsh Mahajan (Mahasu), and others.

While most events will take place on March 8, Sundernagar’s event will be on March 12, and Palampur and Solan on March 11.
