BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal Accuses Congress of Anti-Development Stand
2 min readDr. Rajeev Bindal, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticized the leadership of the Congress party, accusing them of failing to highlight the developmental work done by the government over the past one and a half years. He emphasized that the current government, despite being in power for an extended period, has failed to undertake any significant initiatives for the welfare of the people, thus earning the label of the most incompetent government in the state’s history.
Bindal raised concerns regarding the recent nomination of certain individuals with controversial remarks about Lord Ram to the Rajya Sabha by the Congress party and the Chief Minister. He questioned the rationale behind such selections, considering their past statements questioning the existence of Lord Ram and the authenticity of Ayodhya as his birthplace. He highlighted the irony of these individuals being nominated while distancing the party from the inauguration ceremony of the Ram temple and refusing invitations to attend, raising doubts about the party’s stance on the issue.
Furthermore, Bindal criticized the Congress government’s past promises, such as the pledge to defeat 97% of Hindus in the 2022 elections, questioning whether they were seeking forgiveness from the same demographic now. He contrasted this with the BJP’s track record of inclusive development, citing initiatives such as the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the Ujjwala Yojana providing free LPG connections, and financial support to farmers through schemes like PM-KISAN.
Bindal emphasized the transformative development projects initiated under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, including the construction of over a lakh crore worth of national highways, the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, and infrastructure projects like tunnels and bridges. He praised Modi’s efforts in extending railway connectivity and providing healthcare benefits to millions through schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Himcare.
In conclusion, Bindal urged the people of Himachal Pradesh to recognize the BJP’s commitment to inclusive development and vote in favor of the party in the upcoming elections. He highlighted the need for a stable and progressive government at both the state and national levels to ensure the continued growth and prosperity of the region.
