BJP Spokesperson Chetan Singh Baragta’s Statement on Congress Government

Shimla, December 18, 2024: BJP’s state spokesperson Chetan Singh Baragta strongly criticized the Congress government for registering an FIR in the wild rooster case, calling it not only illogical but also revealing the politically motivated intentions of the Congress government.

Baragta accused the state government of deliberately targeting senior BJP leaders and prominent media houses. He stated that this action was against democratic values, which BJP condemns in the strongest terms. According to Baragta, the Congress government is unable to handle uncomfortable questions and criticism, which has led to such actions.

He also pointed out the government’s focus on trivial issues like the CID investigation of samosas and the FIR in the wild rooster case, questioning the government’s priorities. He expressed regret that the government was entangled in such petty matters instead of addressing the real problems of the people.

BJP strongly condemned the entire incident and warned the government that any attempt to suppress democratic institutions’ voices would fail, and the public would give their response in due time.
